Workplace Operations Manager
Location: San Francisco, CA (On-site, 5 days a week)

The Role:
We’re looking for a Workplace Operations Manager to lead our workplace and facilities teams in San Francisco and Denver while supporting our global offices. Reporting to the Director of People Ops and Workplace, you’ll be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, maintenance, and management of our workspaces. Your mission is to create safe, efficient, and welcoming environments that foster productivity and reflect Strava’s inclusive culture.
This highly collaborative role will work closely with the People Team, IT, executive business partners, talent team, finance team, and office committees to ensure our workplaces support both employee well-being and company goals.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead and manage workplace programs across locations, such as snack and beverage services, office décor, and employee amenities, while staying within budgets.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, creating secure and supportive environments for employees.
- Oversee daily operations and maintenance of facilities to maximize utilization and employee comfort.
- Be the primary point of contact for workplace-related support and questions from employees globally.
- Collaborate with the People Team to enhance company culture through office spaces, programs, and people-centered approaches that blend data insights with empathy.
- Manage escalations, troubleshoot issues, and provide general support for employees and leadership teams.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: 6+ years in facilities management, workplace operations, or related fields, including experience leading a team.
- Skills: Strong project management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
- Leadership: Collaborative and inclusive leadership style with excellent communication skills.
- Expertise: Proven ability to design and implement effective processes and leverage workplace software to drive results.
- Culture Fit: Passion for fostering an inclusive, equitable workplace that reflects Strava’s mission and values.
- Other: Experience scaling operations and supporting strong company culture through programs and events.
