Sares Regis Group, a privately held real estate development, investment, and management firm based in Newport Beach, California, is looking for an experienced Community Manager to join our team in San Francisco, CA. We specialize in both commercial properties and multifamily communities across the western U.S. Since our founding in 1993, we’ve developed and acquired more than $7 billion in assets, managing approximately 25 million square feet of office and industrial space, as well as 36,000 apartment units.

About the Role:

We’re currently seeking an experienced Community Manager for The Rise at Hayes Valley, a 160-unit property in San Francisco. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to grow their career with a company that values its team members and offers a great work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the property, ensuring smooth performance and resident satisfaction.
  • Hire, train, and manage a strong team, ensuring they meet the needs of the community.
  • Maximize income through rent collection, delinquent rent procedures, and ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
  • Create and manage marketing strategies to ensure full occupancy and stay ahead of the competition.
  • Stay on top of property maintenance, ensuring high-quality contractor performance and upholding safety standards.
  • Assist in budget preparation and monitor financial performance, reviewing variance reports and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Foster a positive relationship with residents, managing retention programs and addressing concerns promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Community Manager, ideally with 100-200 units, preferably in the San Francisco market.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Excellent sales abilities with a focus on resident retention.
  • Proficient in operational software (Outlook, Excel, Word) and general office tasks.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate complex situations.
  • Must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet deadlines consistently.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive salary range: $90,000-$100,000 annually.
